Traditionally used by ancient Egyptians to detox and maintain their health and vitality, wheatgrass is the leafy growth of the young wheat plant.

Wheatgrass is an excellent source of minerals, boasting a wealth of magnesium, chlorophyll, calcium, copper and phosphorous content. Wheatgrass exhibits a significant proportion of essential vitamins.

Sourced from an organic plant in Canterbury New Zealand, the wheatgrass plant is harvested whilst it is still young and transported to an organically certified dehydrating company. The moisture content of wheatgrass is reduced by 4%; wheatgrass is then ground to fine powder. This process preserves the nutritional integrity of the plant.

• We recommend that you take one heaped teaspoon (3 grams) mixed with water or juice, once or twice a day. It should ideally be taken mid-morning and/or mid-afternoon. We also recommend that you take a reduced dose during the first week to minimise detoxification symptoms.
